Dana Schulze

District 6

Dana Schulze is a seasoned patriot who has been active in local government. Dana grew up in a hard-working blue-collar family and worked her way through college becoming the first in her family to earn a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Affairs and Criminal Justice.


Dana earned her officer’s commission in the United States Air Force through ROTC at Indiana University which launched her career as an aeronautical navigator. Dana flew more than 2,500 hours around the globe during peacetime and combat. She has held multiple administrative and leadership roles during her 7 years in the United States Air Force. After retirement, she followed her passion to work with families and children by earning Master’s Degree in Counseling at the University of Colorado and became a Licensed Professional Counselor serving families and children in outpatient, inpatient, foster care settings and within the juvenile justice system.


In 1995 Dana married the love of her life and together she and Erich raised 3 children, classically homeschooling them for 23 years. During her time as a homeschool mom, Dana supported families in the community as a Support Representative with Classical Conversations.
